Wandering the woods of Presidio and beaches of San Francisco for an engagement shoot with this Indian American couple

The story started many moons ago when I had just moved to Bay Area and I was frightened by the thought of having to drive on American roads. Yes, it’s kind of different story than you expected as the groom-to-be in these pre-wedding pictures happens to be my driving guru & photography mentor. I knew instantly that this friendship will sail for long. Now nearly 4 years down the line he is tying the knot and asked me to photograph the engagement session in San Francisco. In my opinion, it’s an honour especially when a photographer friend asks you to capture his surprise proposal. I was absolutely jumpy even though we have shot many weddings together. I wanted to do my extra best and capture the engagement pictures that he would really love.

Monty & Suneet are tying the knot in August this year and as you can tell this couple is truly and madly in love. For the pre-wedding shoot, we started at Presidio’s lover’s lane, had pizza in Broadway before heading to Bakers Beach in San Francisco for the sunset. A scorching day turned in to a super chilly evening as expected in SFO but Suneet braved the winds like a true warrior in her pretty outfit.
